Pastor Charles Callis’ ministry demonstrates a keen awareness of people’s needs by providing practical biblical truths for everyday life. Modeling his ministry after the apostle Paul’s message to the Ephesians, Pastor Callis believes that: “Life is worth nothing unless I use it for doing the work assigned me by the Lord Jesus–the work of telling others the Good News about God’s mighty kindness and love” (Acts 20:24, TLB).

Pastor Callis’ messages tackle such issues as parenting, finances, personal crises, emotions, and relationships. Instructional teaching for personal spiritual growth focuses on prayer, the character of God, fellowship through the Holy Spirit, and the Person of Jesus Christ. Pastor Callis fervently believes the Bible to be the inerrant Word of God, a belief strongly reflected in his teaching.

Pastor Callis’ ministry philosophy is: To lead people worldwide into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and to strengthen the local church. Pastor Callis’ heart’s desire is to get the gospel to “as many people as possible, as quickly as possible, as clearly as possible, as irresistibly as possible, through the power of the Holy Spirit to the glory of God.”

Saddle up for VBS 2010 where kids will be ridin’ the range and roundin’ up questions like: “What is God’s plan for me?” and “How can I be like Jesus?” At the end of the day, they’ll discover that God’s Word has all the answers. Saddle Ridge Ranch VBS is a place where kids can ask questions and discover the answers found in God’s Word. The five daily session titles came from questions kids really asked. Who am I? Does God care about me? What is God’s plan for me? How can I be like Jesus? What do I do now? When you think about it, they are questions we often ponder at any age.  Thankfully God tells us in His Word that if any of us lack wisdom we should ask God! Need Answers? Ask God!
